Over the past year and change, we’ve had the pleasure of working with some of our favorite makers and designers in the city. Not only are these folks talented, but they are also singularly lovely and wonderful collaborators. As we head into gifting season, we thought it only right to highlight some of their products that we think are truly exceptional -
SMALL TALK STUDIOS
Nick & Phil are the duo behind Small Talk Studios. Initially known for their hand-painted jackets and pants, the duo have expanded their collection season upon season to create a wonderfully broad and versatile brand. This weekend, Small Talk will be hosting a sample sale with friends Daytime Novella, Connor Mckight, Silphium, csillag, and Archie at Earshot from 12-5PM. Swing by.
PONSONT PAPER
Deemed the “The Cadillac of Incense Papers” by The New Yorker, Ponsont Paper is the miracle creation of our dear friend Justin Vaughan. Just rip a small piece from a booklet, light the paper, and sink into a bed of roses. The scent is so potent that when Justin first started manufacturing Ponsont, he had to move to a remote farm in Kansas so as not to disturb his neighbors.

Aveta Studios was the breakout star of an early Saturday Market - every member of the team has at least one of Ashley’s pieces, with several of us going on to make custom rings at a later workshop. Her rings would make a beautiful gift for a friend or a loved one.

In need of an apartment reset in the new year? Look no further than our friends Priya and Aliah of Giv Studios. Don’t take our word for it - check out the beautifully decorated Cha& Tea Bar and Nico’s Bottle Shop in LA for examples of their interior design work. They also source and sell exquisite pieces in their online store - I personally have my eyes on this sofa.
